Carlsberg Says It’s Still Pursuing “Better”

Founder J.C Jacobsen’s purpose for the company when he established it in the 19th century was the “constant pursuit of better”, and Carlsberg says it is continuing that mission today. The company points to a number of ways it is achieving this, such as the 2019 relaunch of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner in the UK, with an improved beer and greener packaging, including the Snap Pack to remove the plastic rings; and it’s partnership with the World Wildlife Fund in supporting work to restore seagrass, a good carbon absorber, along the UK coast, and investment in integrated marketing to raise awareness among consumers.
