Henkel Gains Government Nod For Sustainability Efforts In Argentina

May 19, 2014: 12:00 AM EST
Argentina’s Office of the Ministry of Social Development added personal care goods manufacturer Henkel Argentina to the Register of Social Responsibility Organizations, the agency’s list of companies that observe and promote sustainability. Henkel’s local initiatives which are part of the company’s global Sustainability Strategy for 20130 helped convince the government to recognize the company’s sustainability efforts. The list recognizes private and public organizations for their actions related to human rights, environment, labor standards, and efforts against corruption.
