Unilever Launches Environment-Friendly Deodorants For Women In UK

May 15, 2014: 12:00 AM EST
Unilever said it is launching a range of women’s deodorants that use 50 percent less propellant gas, eliminating 25 percent of the aerosol spray’s carbon footprint per can. A UK innovation, compressed aerosol technology has been developed by Unilever, which invested more than £20 million in perfecting the innovation. Using the technology, the products from the Sure, Dove, and Vaseline lines are as effective and last as long as the full-size versions they are replacing, the company said.
